Introduction to the Music Video Project

I seen this project and I immediately got stressed out. I know nothing about music videos how am I supposed to do one? If I took an hour for 30 seconds, how long would it take for 1 minute? At first I thought we had to write our own song for some reason. When my teacher said I can work with someone, I thought of one person. My friend Akiel Williams. He's also in this class but a different period. The reason I chose him because he is a close friend of mine and we live near each other. He was also helping me with my last project; the commercial. He's the reason why I got different angles in my last commercial. The song we chose was Trust and Believe by Keyshia Cole. This was not our first choice. Our teacher said the song had to tell a story. So I immediately thought of this song called "Rico Story". Then I remembered it had to be school board appropriate. So I thought of this old song from this group called JJ FAD "SUPERSONIC". I didn't choose it because I would need 3 girls to dance. So I thought of this song. It tells a great story. I would tell you the rest but you'll have to figure that out from the actual video.

Production Blog: Final Task

 It's finally over!! Boy was this journey stressful. We didn't do everything we wanted to do, but it still came out okay. We know we put our all into it and that's all that matters. We had to do a LOTT of trimming. We honestly didn't even do all of the scenes because we didn't think that it would be so long. We cut 4 minutes into 2 minutes and we didn't use all the scenes. The titles that are being played the opening sequence is the production companies, the kind of production it is, and the actors of the movies. They have the title of the movie (Fried Green Potatoes) , the special appearance, and the person who did the casting. We can’t forget the producers, the editors, and who’s the music by. They also include the costume designer, production designer, and who directed photography.  They also put what it was based on, who’s the screenplay by, and the official director. The images that are in the opening sequence is a lake, a car, and a neighborhood. There are 2 houses, a man in a telephone booth, and a small café. You can see their menu, a lady in a car, and a deer. The lake and car means that someone crashed their car into the lake in some neighborhood.
